Adding missed-call text-back when you already use Jobber or Housecall Pro
Updated October 10, 2026
If your shop already runs on a field-service platform such as Jobber or Housecall Pro, you don't have to switch anything to start texting back missed calls. A stand-alone text-back tool can sit next to it.
What each platform offers (checked October 10, 2026)
- Jobber sells a Receptionist add-on for $29/month on top of a plan (Connect is $139/month, or $99/month billed yearly), per Jobber's pricing page.
- Housecall Pro shows missed calls in its chat feed and sells voice and AI call-answering add-ons; we couldn't confirm an automatic missed-call text on its public pages, so check with them for your plan.
Setting Ringback up next to your platform
- Install Ringback on the Android phone your business number rings on (the setup guide takes about 15 minutes).
- In Ringback Settings → Booking link, paste your existing Jobber or Housecall Pro online-booking link. Missed callers get that link, so bookings still land in your platform's calendar.
- Keep answering jobs in your platform as usual; Ringback only handles the first text and the replies.
Ringback costs $17/month (or $170/year) with no setup fee. Compare it with other options on the pricing page. What the platforms themselves cost: Jobber pricing, Housecall Pro pricing, and Jobber vs Housecall Pro.
Ringback works on an Android phone your business line rings on, or with an iPhone plus a Mac (Mac helper, beta) or a spare Android: see missed-call text-back on iPhone.
