Housecall Pro pricing in 2026: Basic, Essentials and MAX, users, add-ons and AI call answering
Updated October 9, 2026
Housecall Pro is field-service management (FSM) software for home-service businesses: online booking, scheduling and dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments and reviews. These prices are from Housecall Pro's pricing page, checked on October 9, 2026. Prices are in USD, exclude sales tax, and change, so confirm there before you buy.
Housecall Pro plans and prices
| Plan | Users included | Billed annually | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 1 | $59/mo | $79/mo |
| Essentials | 5 | $149/mo | $189/mo |
| MAX | 8 (then $35/mo per additional user) | $299/mo | $329/mo |
When we checked, the page also showed introductory offers (for example $26/month for the first month on Basic or Essentials, and $99/month for three months on MAX after a demo). Offers like these come and go; budget on the regular prices above.
What each plan includes
- Basic: online booking (customers can book and pay from Google or your website), scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoicing, payments and consumer financing, a price book, job costing and review management.
- Essentials adds routes, flat-rate pricing, checklist automations, photo reports, employee GPS tracking, commissions and QuickBooks Online sync.
- MAX adds a sales proposal tool, recurring service plans, route optimization, open API access, a dedicated onboarding specialist and escalated phone support.
Every plan includes live phone and chat support, the iOS and Android app, and Housecall Pro's built-in AI helpers (marketing, chat, analyst and coach). Card processing starts at 2.59% and bank payments carry a 1% fee, per the pricing page FAQ.
Add-ons (prices not published)
The pricing page lists these as extras without prices and offers "tailored pricing information" through a demo: CSR AI (call answering), Sales Proposal Tool, Pipeline, Payroll, Accounting, Business Coaching, Voice (a VoIP business phone system), Campaigns, GPS/dashcams, Tap to Pay and Websites. Ask for a written quote on any you want before you sign up.
What a 1–5 person trade business would pay
- Owner-operator: Basic, $59/month billed annually or $79/month billed monthly.
- Crew of 2–5: Essentials, $149/month billed annually or $189/month billed monthly, with 5 users included.
- Want AI to answer calls: add CSR AI at a price you'll need to get from Housecall Pro.
Does Housecall Pro text back missed calls?
Not that we could confirm on its public pages. Housecall Pro's CSR AI answers calls and website chats 24/7 and books jobs (text answering is described as "coming soon"); Housecall Pro says "CSR AI sold separately" and "CSR AI 24/7 call answering is a paid feature". Its Voice phone system lets you set custom voicemails for when you miss a call. If automatic missed-call texts matter to you, ask Housecall Pro whether your plan includes them.
Where Housecall Pro is the better choice
- You need software to run the jobs: booking, dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments and reviews in one app. Ringback does none of that.
- You have a crew: Essentials includes 5 users and MAX includes 8.
- You want an AI that answers calls and books straight into your Housecall Pro schedule (CSR AI).
If all you need is missed callers texted back
If your quoting and invoicing already work and the real problem is calls you can't pick up, an FSM plan is a big purchase for that one job. Ringback is a stand-alone missed-call text-back app: it runs on the Android phone your business number already rings on, texts every missed caller from your own number within seconds, and includes a simple online booking page. It costs $17/month (or $170/year) with no setup fee and a 7-day free trial. It is not field-service software (no dispatch, estimates or invoicing) and it never answers calls.
It also works alongside Housecall Pro: put your Housecall Pro online-booking link in Ringback and missed callers get that link, so bookings land in Housecall Pro.
